IUSM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Additionally, IUSM's CME staff is experienced in providing educational offerings to other healthcare professionals through joint sponsorship with IUSM health professional schools and outside collaborations. In all of its offerings, IUSM strictly adheres to the ACCME’s Essential Guidelines and Policies as its planning framework.
About the Osteoporosis Foundation of New Mexico
Founded in 2000, the Osteoporosis Foundation of New Mexico is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to osteoporosis education and research. Its mission is to educate the public and healthcare providers, and to support research on osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease.
